The 10 best places to SUP this summer in Quebec!

Finally, the SUP season has begun!

Before you head out on your adventure, the¬†The Wild Tribe team presents you with the best bodies of water so that you can enjoy your board to the fullest this summer. Don't forget your water bottle, a small lunch and your PFD to have a safe and enjoyable day ūüŹĄūüŹĹ

 

1. La Mauricie National Park, Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc

There is no shortage of water in La Mauricie Park! Lake Wapizagonke and Lake √Čdouard are a must for SUP lovers, as they offer a pleasant and calm experience for paddlers, in addition to an impressive view of nature.

 

2. Perce Rock, Perce

What could be better than walking on the water while contemplating the famous Percé Rock, an icon of the Gaspé region? It is possible to do it!

*For beginners, the Quebec SUP team advises you to bring a wetsuit, as the water is always very cold, even in the middle of summer, and the ocean waves could make you capsize!

 

3. Les Bergeronnes, C√īte Nord

A few kilometres after Tadoussac, you will be able to practice SUP surrounded by belugas and whales. In addition to observing marine animals, you will be offered a magnificent landscape, as this region of Quebec is known for its astonishing viewpoints.

Would you like to observe bears and beavers in complete safety on your SUP? It is possible to do so at Lac √† l'Eau Claire, which extends over two municipalities: Saint-√Člie-de-Caxton and Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. This charming lake is well known by water sports enthusiasts, as it offers breathtaking scenery!

This huge fjord will blow you away with its rocky walls. In many places, you will have the impression that it extends to infinity. Please note that there are tides and currents in this area, so be careful!
