I placed my order for the Sequoia paddle board in Aug and it finally arrived the first week of October. I was a little disappointed in how long it took to arrive. But, and here’s the big question, was it worth the wait? Hell yeah! What a sweet ride! Quality construction, easy to set up, the paddles are primo, and the duffle is hardcore. I’m a kayaker not a SUP person. In fact I’ve never been on a SUP before this. I kid you not. I wanted a watercraft that was easy and quick to get out on the water in a moments notice. Something that didn’t require a second person and a ladder to help me get it on and off the roof of my converted cargo van for totally independent paddling freedom. And being a complete newb, something that offered stability and versatility. It was so easy to inflate, carry to the water, and get on for my first ever ride. The day was cold, grey, misty with strong winds and small waves, not the placid hot day I’d envisioned for my maiden voyage. All went well, kneeling to standing, and I never fell in once or got soaked. A good thing because the lakes in Northern Ontario and Manitoba are a bit chilly this time of year. I can’t wait until next summer to take her out again and again. I rated 4 stars because of delivery time, and I wanted to get more paddling in before the snow flies. Peace.

I just received my Wild Tribe Sequoia SUP, and it looks beautiful! The design and color are even nicer in person, and the board feels really sturdy and well-made. I haven’t had the chance to take it out on the water yet, but I’m already excited and ready for some early summer paddling next year!

The only reason for 4 stars is the long wait and limited updates during shipping — I was really looking forward to using it sooner. But overall, I’m happy with the board and can’t wait to finally try it out!

I felt guilty leaving my dog at home when I would paddle board with a friend who has one of his litter mates and she gets to join. While my dog is much bigger than his sister I needed a bigger board. The Oak seemed to be what I needed being wider and being able to handle the extra weight of a 100lb dog. One short paddle and it was a great success......he was chill like he had been on one before unlike his sister who ends up in the water a few times every excursion.

Love my new paddle board! Got the 10” Peyto, so happy I decided on the smaller size. It is perfect for me! Easier to carry & handle on the water. I am 5’4, 130lbs.

We tried our new The Wild Tribe SUPs for the first time over the past two days at Pinery Provincial Park. We are both in our 70's and we have never been on a SUP. We had a great experience! The videos on the website showed us exactly how to get ready for the water. We standing up and paddling as soon as we were on the water. The boards are stable while also being maneuverable. We are 100% satisfied with purchase and feel that we made the right choice in going with The Wild Tribe.

I'm excited for this skinnier, speedier SUP & really enjoy this next level. Same price range as the basic SUP from iRocker (competitive brand) I got 5yrs ago. Comparing both styles, I like The Wild Tribe "Columbia" SUP 20psi, longer wider fins. The Wild Tribe fins are reinforced with "screw in" reinforcement. Although I have peace of mind that my fins stay connected, but it makes for more difficult fin removal & more risk in losing/breaking small plastic tabs/screws. I keep my fins on when deflated & roll in bag, but it cud risk break. I do prefer the traditional "clip in" fins of other brands. This paddle blade was smaller than my old one. Would prefer a longer, wider blade to match the sleek speed of this new SUP. Overall, I'm happy for this sleeker speedier shape of The Wild Trip SUP because this price point is very good with the entire travel package.

We have 2 11’ Columbia boards. Quick and easy to air up. So far we have just used as kayaks with the optional seat. Well built and easy to pack into the wheeled backpack.

reluctant at first of an inflatable sup, being 15 yrs on a 12’6” v-stern rigid sup… shocked at the rigidity, responsiveness and tracking… add in the ease of portability and my rigid is now collecting dust;)

With no experience I decided on the Wild Tribe Sequoia for multiple reasons - Canadian company, thinner and more stable than others....Finally got out on some calm water and was able to stand up! Very happy with my decision. Excellent communication, fast shipping.

Ordering and delivery process
Very smooth no issues whatsoever. If you are in Canada expect fast shipping. I am located in GTA Ontario and got the purchase in about two days. Less actually.

The board itself
I am about 190-200lbs so from my last experience with a body glove board and a rental I definitely felt unstable a bit on those boards. The sequoia stiff board worked quite nicely for my body weight. I pumped it to about 18.5 psi , 19.5 psi since i was a bit hesitant to get it up to 20 psi. I love the carbon fibre paddle shaft. I have seen reviews of other paddle boards online that have pointed to the heavier shafts. This is amazing. Love it. Very light. The leash is great and solid. No complains there.

Touring
I haven’t taken it in choppy waters just calm lakes so didn’t feel the need to use all the three fins at all times but i did add it on my last trip on a lake. The speed is definitely noticeable and feels great. It sits close to the water so i guess it feels like it cruises more ? I definitely enjoy tracking on this far better than the rental i had and just sitting on it on the water for a nice relaxing evening. I can easily do 3-6 strokes before switching to the other side. Sometimes more. I am still getting used to the paddle board and paddling but i have already purchased the wet bag, bottle holder, cleaner ( it smells super fresh and clean) am hoping to take it out lot more often before winter hits.

The electric pump
Works great. Filled it and used it twice so far. You do have to make sure to set it right angle else there will be air leakage. Don’t use hand pump much since its effort a lot lol.

Some thoughts :
PS : Even according to ChatGPT and grok on a basic comparison between Wild tribe and other brands, price to performance ratios, the AI chose Wild tribe with around a 1k Canadian dollar budget that punches above its weight class. Excellent value. Will recommend this to others. Some feedback : The website is too visually busy so some cleaning there will help with product selection and checkout much easily. The checkout with shop is great.

Love this board! Ended up buying 2 so y wife and daughter can enjoy together. Big enough for my dog too. Stable well built and easy to pack and unpack.

I finally got around to taking my Sequoia 11" iSUP out for a test ride. I have 2 45Ilb dogs, so used the seat and used it as a kayak on the first ride. With 2 dogs I found it as advertised. It was very stable and moved quicker than I thought it would. On the second voyage, I took one dog ands stood up as it should be used. Again, very stable and was again faster than I thought. Everything I need fits in the back back and I look forward to exploring a lot more lakes.

J’ai mijoté longtemps avant de faire mon achat. Aucun regret! Le tout est de qualité; les instructions sont facile à suivre. J’ai écouté quelques vidéos de conseils et techniques et tout c’est super bien passée. Une planche très stable et on se sent libre comme l’air la-dessus.

Awesome board! Tried it out with the pooch for the first time today. It handled well even with a bit of wind and very stable with the dog. Only issue is with the paddle! The two ends don't align so the button can't click in place and hold the ends together! Hoping it can be replaced :)

J'ai choisi le Sequoïa pour sa stabilité et la possibilité d'avoir 4 action mount. Malheureusement les accessoirs des autres compagnies ne vissent pas dans les action mount de la planche. Il demeure bien pour mettre un banc de kayak. J'ai adoré pêcher sur le lac cet été, je recommande fortement !!!

Très contente d'avoir acheté mon équipement, superbe qualité, a surmonté la hauteur de mes attentes! Je vais définitivement acheter plus d'équipements ici!!!

Reçu au début de décembre, une gonflée, elle est très rigide, facile à gonfler avec la pompe double action. J’ai bien hâte de la mettre à l’eau l’été prochain.
