Before you head out on your adventure, the The Wild Tribe team presents you with the best bodies of water so that you can enjoy your board to the fullest this summer. Don't forget your water bottle, a small lunch and your PFD to have a safe and enjoyable day !

1. La Mauricie National Park, Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc


There is no shortage of water in La Mauricie Park! Lake Wapizagonke and Lake Édouard are a must for SUP lovers, as they offer a pleasant and calm experience for paddlers, in addition to an impressive view of nature.

2. PERCE ROCK, PERCE

What could be better than walking on the water while contemplating the famous Percé Rock, an icon of the Gaspé region? It is possible to do it!

*For beginners, the Quebec SUP team advises you to bring a wetsuit, as the water is always very cold, even in the middle of summer, and the ocean waves could make you capsize!

3. LES BERGERONNES, CÔTE NORD

A few kilometres after Tadoussac, you will be able to practice SUP surrounded by belugas and whales. In addition to observing marine animals, you will be offered a magnificent landscape, as this region of Quebec is known for its astonishing viewpoints.

4. LAKE MEMPHREMAGOG, MAGOG

Will you be lucky enough to see the famous monster that has been haunting this lake for many years? Go hunting on your Quebec SUP board on this magnificent lake that offers a breathtaking view of Mount Orford.

5. Lake Saint-François-Xavier, Wentworth-Nord, Laurentians

For yoga enthusiasts, you can practice on your SUP, while Lake Saint-François-Xavier, well known for its calm and refreshing waters, is perfect for relaxing!

6. Lake Massawippi, Ayer's Cliff, Eastern Townships

During the summer season, it can be hot, very hot! Jump out of your boat and swim in Lake Massawippi, known as one of the most beautiful lakes in Quebec.

7. Lac à l'Eau Claire, Mauricie

Would you like to observe bears and beavers in complete safety on your SUP? It is possible to do so at Lac à l'Eau Claire, which extends over two municipalities: Saint-Élie-de-Caxton and Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. This charming lake is well known by water sports enthusiasts, as it offers breathtaking scenery!

8. Saguenay Fjord, Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean

This huge fjord will blow you away with its rocky walls. In many places, you will have the impression that it extends to infinity. Please note that there are tides and currents in this area, so be careful!
