HOW TO ATTACH YOUR ANKLE STRAP

HOW TO ATTACH YOUR ANKLE STRAP - The Wild Tribe

STEP 1

Detach the rope attached to the Velcro on your leash and slide the end of the rope loop into the D-shaped ring located at the back of your board.

STEP 2

Pass the knotted end of the rope through the loop of the rope to secure it around the D-Ring.

STEP 3

Open the velcro strap completely and insert it into the loop of the rope.

STEP 4

Fold the first side of the velcro strap to lock the rope in the leash.

STEP 5

Fold the other side of the velcro and finalize the folding with the smallest strap. Your leash is now secured to your paddle board.

You only have to attach the other side of the leash to your Ankle and you are ready to go.

STEP 6

Secure the ankle strap to your right or left foot depending on your preferences and needs.

Follow James on how to install your ankle strap.

What is required for paddle boarding by the law.

Transport Canada requires wearing an ankle leash on the water, along with a life jacket or PFD (personal flotation device), a floating rope (Your ankle leash), a whistle and a waterproof flashlight if you paddle at night.

We wouldn't want you to receive a fine if you're caught without them!
